   The establishment of an Enforcement Department is a new strategy, which en-

   ables the Commission to shift its focus from monitoring only, to also enforcing the 

   gambling  laws wherever they apply throughout Jamaica. The Division includes

.  Investigators  trained in the detection of corruption in gambling wherever it 

   exists and an  Intelligence officer whose duty is to locate, collect, collate and

   archive information  about illegal gambling activities. In addition, two officers of 

   the Jamaica  Constabulary Force have been seconded to this Division.
